Decision memo
A one-page document that pairs a finding with a specific recommended action and the person who owns it.
A decision memo replaces the sixty-slide deck as the default deliverable. It states the question, the finding, how confident the team is, the recommended action, who owns it and when it will be reviewed. A sponsor can carry it straight into planning.
No deliverable leaves without a recommendation. The deck, if there is one, is an input to the memo, and the decision is what comes out.
