Insight agent
An AI agent that answers business questions from a company's past research and can run new research when the answer is not there.
An insight agent sits on top of a tagged repository of past studies, open-ends, transcripts and tracking data. Asked a question, it retrieves what is known and says what is not. In more advanced setups it fields a short survey or a set of AI-moderated interviews to fill the gap.
Building and maintaining insight agents is a core insights engineer task. The agent is only as good as the past research underneath it.
