Insights analyst
The traditional consumer insights role. Scopes studies, manages vendors, analyses results and presents the findings.
An insights analyst, and the insights manager above them, runs the study model. A brief comes in, a vendor is briefed, fieldwork happens and a deck comes back. The deck is the deliverable.
The role is not going away, but the work inside it is changing. A language model can now do the transcription, the coding, the summary and the first-draft slides in an afternoon, so those stop being the valuable part. The role that remains is the insights engineer.
