Text analytics covers everything from keyword counts to LLM-based theme extraction across millions of documents. It is how an insights team keeps up with what customers say when nobody is surveying them.
The insights engineer turns a text analytics feed into a decision. 'Sentiment fell' is a headline. 'Sentiment fell because of X, so do Y' is something a team can act on.
